And still our biggest rant involves cross-training with high school softball in North Carolina and, yes, questionable rules about hair. Our COVID report tries to explain the breakthrough cases among vaccinated Yankees, and what’s up with the Padres. In Taiwan, a disturbing upswing in infections cause the league to suspend CPBL games, at least temporarily. Women’s baseball kicks off this week in the UK.
